About us

Christmas Lunch on Jesus is an initiative of Jesus House London, and started in 2007, and have since then delivered over 20,000 hampers to people in desperate need during Christmas time across three Boroughs in North London. The hampers are packed with Christmas goodies, including a turkey, stuffing, carrots, Brussel sprouts, potatoes, gravy, Christmas pudding, chocolates and non-alcoholic wine, gospel CD, and Christian literature.

RCCG Cornerstone Chapel started Christmas Lunch on Jesus in Calgary in December 2020, and reached out to families in need across the city and distributed Christmas Hampers with items for Christmas Lunch.

Parkers

We currently need volunteers to help pack 250 Christmas Hamper boxes. This exercise will take approximately 6 hours to complete, and volunteers will be required to sort out the food items, set the boxes, load the food into the boxes, tag, and adequately stack each box ready for delivery. At least 20 volunteers are needed.

Parker’s date: 21st of December, 2024.
Time: 12 noon to 3 pm.

Drivers

This group will consist of individuals using their cars to deliver hampers to specified addresses across the City of Calgary. They will be required to pick as many boxes as possible and make single or multiple deliveries.

Hamper’s delivery date is the 22nd of December, 2024.
