Sponsor a Hamper
You can make a difference in the lives of people in need this Christmas by sponsoring the hampers.
You can choose to sponsor one hamper for one family, or you can sponsor multiple hampers. Hampers are $60 (sixty dollars) each, but you can donate any amount.
The way monetary donations are used follows a simple equation: every $60 collected will cover the cost of one hamper, which includes making the customized CLOJ boxes and the box’s content.
Each hamper consists of the following items:
- Frozen turkey (5-7kg)
- Potato Bag
- Stuffing
- Gravy
- Carrots
- Cranberry sauce
- Fruit juice
- Shortbread biscuits
- Chocolates

How do I get a Christmas lunch hamper?
Hampers are requested through our website. Persons needing a hamper should go to our website, select the request a hamper button and put in all the relevant information listed on the application.
What comes in the Christmas hampers?
Hampers are completed with enough food items to feed a family of 4-6. Items include stuffing, gravy, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, canned corn, cranberry, sparkling wine, turkey onion and a dessert item.
Can I make a request for what I want in the hamper?
CLOJ Hampers are not done to order, and each hamper has the same standard items.
When does the request open for Hampers?
The hamper request portal is opened on the last week of November and will remain open for 10 days or until the total amount for request is full.
Do I need to attend your church to receive a hamper ?
No. Hampers are available to anyone not able to afford to purchase items for Christmas lunch/dinner.
Do I need to live in the South to receive a hamper?
No. Hampers cam be requested by anyone living in all four quadrants of Calgary (NW, NE, SE, SW).
Can I make a request for someone else?
Yes. However, please ensure you enter the person's correct address, telephone number, and email.
I am a social worker/community support worker. Can I request for my client?
Yes, however, please ensure to use your client's contact details and not yours and ensure the client is aware that you are making the request
When do I get my requested hamper?
The delivery date for hampers can be found on our website. You must ensure that you or someone else is home to receive the hamper.
How do I know if my request was accepted?
The request portal is closed once we have reached the total amount of hampers we have for distribution. An email is sent upon completion confirming your request.
